Panel 1 in a series of 20 panels. Drawing of a deerskin war shirt. The shoulders of the shirt fill the drawing at the top; the neck is squared and sewn to the front with thread giving way at the right seam. Fringe hangs along the shirt’s right side top to bottom, with similar on parts of the left. The shirt appears to be arm-less. Images on the shirt are in traditional patterns showing birds, animals and whales in red, white and black formline. Covered with plexi frame.

Panel 16 in a series of 20 panels. Drawing of a Kwakwaka'wakw Thunderbird transformation mask showing the interior mask, and open left panel and bottom panel of the beak. The interior side of the beak holds a painting of an eye surrounded by red, green and black decoration and several green ridges. The interior mask has two small dark eyes with thick red brows, a small nose and a red mouth that angles down toward the outside. The strings controlling the moveable sides of the beak extend from it to the nose and side of the eye. The bottom of the beak hangs on a string from the chin. This panel corresponds with 2980/17 which shows the right portion of the beak. In the background is a receding landscape of tall trees and underbrush. Covered with plexi frame.

Eyes are large and dark, angling down toward the outside. Brows are heavy. In the background behind the mask is a landscape of tall trees and underbrush. Covered with plexi frame.
