Deep dish with outward slating sides. Decoration is in dark blue with light green-grey ground. Interior is decorated with three blue bands on lower walls with four leaf-like shapes over top of these bands there is an unglazed band around the centre where a small blue mark is; exterior has leaf designs in a band with two thin blue lines above and below.

Rectangular badge in two equal pieces (part a-b) with an embroidered bird, symbols and surrounding border. The bird is a mandarin duck, denoting a civil seventh rank official. The bird is multicoloured with a blue and white crest, tail and wings, green and yellow scale-like back and throat and red beak. It is in the centre, standing on one leg and facing left with head raised towards the red sun. Amidst a wave and cloud motif background there are symbols around the bird, including an endless knot, a narcissus and several bats. Around the edges of the badge is a gold meander border.
Pillowcase composed of dark blue cotton with an opening at the centre of the seam, which runs the length, and square ends with rounded corners and dark blue silk borders that frame a red centre embroidered with a butterfly design in whtie and black.
