Cone-shaped hat with wide brim. Natural colour, loosely woven on the outside. The inside is completely lined with leaves(?). Two pieces of bamboo are on the inside of the hat.

Unglazed pottery horse and rider. Horse has one raised foot and long black mane. It is wearing a bridle, saddle and decorations around rear. Rider is dressed in a red top and striped pants. Surface has traces of red-orange and black pigment. Horse is standing on a clay slab.

Round deep bowl with curved sides; foot is raised and unglazed. The interior is undecorated and the exterior is decorated with indented vertical lines on wall that is recessed from rim.

A figure sitting with his left leg folded on the floor and his head bent over his right knee, over which his hands are clasped. The figure is wearing a skirt-style wrap and has curled hair painted blue; the ribcage and spine are detailed.

White pitcher with a flat base, double rounded body, short neck and narrow mouth. The lower body rounds in to a narrow middle, before rounding out again to form the upper body. The handle and spout attach once to each the upper and lower bodies. The handles is in the shape of a small dragon. Brown-black spots symmetrically but widely spaced on the glaze. Opaque, unctuous, blue tinged glaze falls short of base in places.

A bowl with gilded scallop rim and foot ring. The exterior depicts plants and flowers of which two blue and two orange peonies are the most prominent. The interior depicts a bat amidst a peach tree. The underside has a six character seal in underglazed blue and two adhesives each with hand-written and inked letters and numbers. Seal is identified as being of the Jia Qing Period (1796-1820 C.E.) of the Qing Dynasty.

Round box with shallow bottom (part a) and shallow, domed top (part b). Part a has decoration in blue and red on outside of floral designs; part b has decoration on top of similar floral design in blue and red. part a has a lip on rim for keeping lid in place.

The exterior is decorated with four gilt bordered medallions with various landscape scenes against a blue enamel background of scrolled clouds and incised feather motifs. The medallions recount scenes from the legend of the spinning maid and the cowherd. One medallion depicts a female figure encircled by scrolling clouds standing on a bridge of magpies while another depicts a male figure encircled by scrolling clouds on a cow atop a bridge of magpies. The remaining two medallions each depict the couple within a garden scene of gazebo, trees, rocks and stars. The interior is painted in underglazed blue with the couple and cow within a garden scene in a central medallion. Scrolling clouds and birds decorate the side. Bottom of bowl has a hand painted six character seal in underglazed blue and two pieces of adhesives each with handwritten inked words and numbers. Seal mark is that of the Qing Dynasty, Tao Kuang reign.
