Border along the lower edge consists of three bands: upper band, diamond shapes enclosing stylized lotus; middle band, rinceau with stylized flowers; lower band, alternating peach and cherry blossoms. The side edges are unfinished; upper edge is selvage with a red and green diamond pattern.

Rectangular textile, cream fabric with brocade, indigo design border on the edge consists of three bands. The upper band has diamond shapes enclosing stylized lotus; middle band, rinceau with stylized flower motif; lower band, alternating peach and cherry blossoms. The upper and lower edges are selvage, the narrow sides are unfinished.

Square, textile consisting of a cream fabric multi-coloured embroidery. Hemmed edges have a dark blue zigzag pattern; border has key a design. The central motif is four men carrying a large red chair; shou symbols.

White pants with indigo embroidery. The pants have a wide waistband with four fabric loops. The pant legs are pleated into the waistband and the legs flare outwards. The upper inseams have a curved cutout, finished with blue bias binding. Each leg has embroidered butterfly and floral motifs. The inside is unlined.

The name of the printing shop 新元發 (san1 jyun4 faat3/Xīn yuán fā) appears on the hanging ornament on the scholar. Both figures are 46cm high.

The name of the printing shop, 志昌 (Zhichang) appears on the clothing on the figure on the right, and 香港 Hong Kong on the figure on the left.
