Faces are red, background is orange. White paper left in some areas. Overlap of blue-green and orange produces olive in some places. Figures are 49 cm high. Figure on part a is wearing a green skirt, figure on part b is wearing a red skirt. The Chinese character福 (fu, fortune) appears on the two fluttering flags behind their shoulders, and The name of the printing shop, 志昌 (zi3 coeng1/ Zhì chāng) appears on their hanging ornament.
Pair of rectangular papers, each printed in black outline with a civil door god (wen menshen; 文門神) in red, yellow and green. Background and faces are orange. White paper left uncoloured in some areas. Figure on part (a) is a male door god, 'Number One Scholar' (状元及第; the title given to a scholar who achieves first place in the imperial exam). He has his right hand raised and holds a jade belt with his left hand. The figure in part b is female, known as goddess/immortal bringing sons (天仙送子); she holds a fly whisk in her left hand, her right holds a baby. The name of the printing shop 保記 (bou2 gei3/ Bǎo jì) appears on the hanging ornament on the scholar, and on the headdress of the goddess. Both are 45 cm high, and would normally be shown facing each other.

Rectangular paper, right side is orange with scattered flecks of gold foil. On paper are four characters in black ink, written horizontally. Writing in pencil on reverse side, "purple ? comes from the east ie good fortune", also four Chinese characters written above.
Rectangular, cover of beige fabric and indigo embroidery. The central, plate-like motif consists of a rim of birds, butterflies, branches and leaves with a centre of birds, butterfly, centipede, branch, leaves and berries. Facing the centre at each side is a large butterfly with floral designs. Each corner has a triangular motif: two have crab and aquatic designs; two flowers and butterflies. The ends are hemmed in geometric pattern. Four cotton ties are sewn to the long edges.

The central motif consists of a round medallion with geometric stylized peach in centre; surrounding four peach blossoms, four peaches each with two swastikas, leaves and sprigs. The end border has two phoenix and two lotus. There is a triangular motif at each corner consisting of swastikas, phoenix and sprigs; persimmons and pomegranates. Ends hemmed; selvage edges. Four twill ties are sewn to the long edges.

Four cotton ties are sewn to selvages with pink thread.

Diagonal corner designs of bird and peach; opposite phoenix and flowers. Bowl of flowers at each end. Upper and lower selvages; ends hemmed in geometric design. Four tapes sewn to selvages with pink thread.
Rectangular, brocade textile of cream fabric and indigo detailing. The design consists of a centre medallion with two birds, tree, leaves and floral motifs. Thirty- four butterflies arranged between medallion and border. The border consists of bird and floral designs. Four, cotton ties are attached to selvage edges. Hemmed at each end.
