Square, slightly concave cloisonne enamel plate with bronze rim. Underside is covered in solid, slightly speckled dull finished blue/green enamel, with single ring foot of bronze. Upper surface has design of 3 bunches of flowers (red, yellow, and light red, all mixed with white) one above the other, with green leaves, the lowest being next to an irregular brown, grey, and light purple shape. All are on black background through which are scattered brass zigzag wires.
Box (a) with lid (b) shaped like a rectangular cube with rounded corners. Box is 2/3 of height; lid the remaining 1/3. Inside is enamelled dark green; underside a slightly lighter green. At centre of underside is brass wire circle with 4 u-shaped wires inside. Edges of box and all exposed wires are brass. Sides of box and lid have red, light red, and orange flowers on green ground with wires in irregular scroll patterns. Along lower edge of box sides are 2 rows of alternating blue half circles. On top of lid, clustered in one corner, is design of morning glories and other flowers with leaves in polychrome on yellow ground.
A fan of woven straw in twill weave, shaped like an inverted heart, with a tubular bamboo handle that has a split 8.5 cm. long to allow for the insertion of the fan which is projecting 13 cm. beyond the body of the fan. The handle is painted (?) with a mottled brown pattern, perforated near the butt end and held in place with a nail. The straw is purple, blue-green, and natural colours, finished with a band of braided straw sewn with unspun linen (?) thread around each side.
White rectangular cloth with blue embroidery. There is an inner rinceau border surrounded by six vase with flower motifs. Around the edges is a small blue triangular border. The back is unlined.
A pair (parts a-b) of matching buckles which interlock. Each is circular with a convex front surface. The back is silver with an attached slightly-raised bar, 4 cm. long. At the edge of each buckle, there is a loop in the shape of a flattened 'u'. The loop on one piece (part a) is 1.4 cm. wide, and is bent at almost ninety degrees. The loop on the other piece (part b) is 0.7cm. wide, and is bent under to form a hook. The front surface of each is covered in shiny dark blue enamel, on which, there is painted a dragon in gold with touches of white and red.
Purple damask jacket. The jacket has a standing collar, front pockets, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog closures. The damask silk is woven with a peony motif. The jacket is lined with yellow-white lamb’s wool.
Nearly spherical incense burner (a), on three cylindrical feet, each 1.5 cm high. At each side are handles shaped like elephant trunks (?), between which, on one side, is a raised design of flowers and birds; on the opposite side is a tree. Burner has a straight neck and a flat rim. Lid (b) has vertical projecting ridge which fits inside burner, and flat flange. Lid is hemispherical, perforated in cloud (?) design, with animal figure serving as handle. Burner and lid have yellow brown patina with dark brown and black areas.
Figure carved from a single piece of medium brown wood (with lighter brown highlights). Smooth surface. Lightly varnished. Represents old man with beard wearing a small conical hat, lifting a fishing net with fish from waves in which he is standing. Behind him is a tree with two branches on either side of him.
A small rectangular wood red lacquer box (part a) with a fitted lid (part b). Black lacquer under the base, and inside. The sides of the box (part a), and lid (part b) are flush when closed with both having a continuous fret pattern around the sides. The top of the lid (part b) is carved with a scene of an old man, and a boy with trees, and rocks with an overall incised background patterning of rectangles on the sky, and hexagons on the ground.
Rectangular seal made of a single piece of bronze with small loop handle at centre of the upper side, which has a raised design of four dragons, four clouds and two circles surrounded by flame patterns. On the underside are approximately fifty-nine raised characters in seal style. The surface of the bronze is a rough, uneven brown and black colour.
