The border along the side opening has embroidered peony, endless knot and coin motifs on a blue ground, edged with purple trim and gold braid. The inside lining is yellow linen.

Daoist album leaf. Painting depicting Xu Xun and the extended benevolence of the transcendent lemon grass. Several male figures are gathered in front of a tall pedestal on wich rests a container and in front of which is a lemon grass(?) plant. Some of the male figures are kneeling, most with their hands together, and there are three women pictured inside a building behind the men. Two young male figures dressed in blue and green robes with red slippers are standing on clouds with the tips of ornaments on poles visible amongst the clouds behind them. There are blue and green rocky outcrops in the foreground and background. The painting is mounted on off-white damask-patterned silk on paper.

The collar border has a gold peony motif on a red ground, edged with gold braid and pink trim. The cuffs have gold braid outside and black cotton lining inside.
