Held by the twine is a rectangular piece of paper with a multicoloured printed image depicting a purse, lipstick, a fan, jewellery, a watch, combs, and a mirror.

Money Offering1631/1 a-c

Money offering consisting of: (a) a piece of card resembling a bank card that reads, "THE BANK OF HELL," with the image of a bearded man, text in Chinese and English as well as a card number printed in black on a green geometric patterned background with a black border; (b) a "BANK OF HELL" bankbook with a red cover that has gold leaf text in English and Chinese on the front and the image of a building printed in black on the reverse; (c) a "BANK OF HELL" cheque book with a yellow cover and an image of a bearded man as well as English and Chinese text printed in black on the front with fake cheques inside that have a red and white geometric background. The three items come in a plastic wrapper with a price tag.

Cantonese Opera RobeN1.636

Red robe with long sleeves, side slits and side opening with a tie. On the lower front is a butterfly motif in orange, red, green, and black on a red ground. The collar and waist border has chrysanthemum and prunus motifs in blue and turquoise on a pink ground. The waist border has a fine blue and white fringe along the lower edge. The sleeve and bottom hem border has a diamond pattern in blue and white. There are tin reflectors on the back and front. The waistband is stiffened with paper and adhesive. The inside lining is natural-coloured cotton.

Cantonese Opera RobeN1.634

Woman's palace robe (gongzhuang), ecru coloured with wide sleeves, centre front opening, short, standing collar with brass buttons and panel skirt. Butterfly, peony, chrysanthemum, lotus, narcissus and hsi motifs on the front and back in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple on an ecru background. Sleeve bands with a flower and symbol motif in red, orange, yellow, green and blue on ecru ground. There are mirrors on the sleeves. The inside lining is white linen on the upper portion and blue linen on the skirt panels.

A shadow puppet fragment of a female head, outlining the face in profile, with red and black detailing. The forehead has a horizontal black band. The eye is outlined in black extending to the back of the head with a horizontal black line. The nose curls inward to create a nostril. The mouth is outlined with red. The white hair has a black bun at the back of the head. Behind the ears, there is a black section. The neck is split with a groove in the middle.

A closing fan with twenty-five inner ribs of ivory, interconnected with a white ribbon, each having abstract designs cut-out with Chinese symbols? The two parent ribs have a floral design cut-out. There is a metal loop with rivets and a white cord tassel.

A hanging scroll painting of a winter landscape scene with mountains, pine trees, and a man mounted on a donkey riding toward a house. Predominant colours are grey, black, green, brown, and orange. The painting has a cream-coloured border of patterned fabric. There are black characters along the top with a red seal. There is one red seal on the bottom of one corner with another four red seals on the other bottom corner. There is a semi-cylindrical rod at the top with a burgundy-red cord bound by metal wire and cream-coloured fabric with a light purple ribbon. There is a cylindrical rod weight at the bottom covered patterned fabric.
