Two ornaments that are made of red and clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal and each with a thin flat rod that has a point at the bottom end. Part a: from the top hook, there is a cluster of two red pieces, one at either side, surrounded by three clear pieces with another clear piece at the top in between, and below this cluster, there are five radiating sets made out of twenty-five clear pieces. Part b: from the top hook, there is a cluster of of two red pieces, one at either side, surrounded by three clear pieces with another clear piece at the top in between, and below this cluster, there are five radiating sets made out of twenty-four clear pieces with one red piece at the bottom centre while above this cluster, there dangles an equilateral triangle made out of six clear pieces with three sets of three clear pieces dangling from it. Chinese opera hair ornaments most likely from the 1920's.
Four (parts a-d) ornaments that are made of clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal. Each piece has a short thin flat rod (with the exception of part a which has a cylindrical rod) with a point at the bottom end and a flower shape at the top made out of one central clear cut circular glass (?) piece surrounded by six others. Chinese opera hair ornaments most likely from the 1920's.
An ornament that is made of clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal. From the top hook, there is square made out of four of these pieces. Below this square, there is an equilateral triangle made out of ten of the same pieces. From this triangle, there dangles four sets each made out of six of the same pieces. Chinese opera accessory most likely from the 1920's.
A metalwork piece that has a long thin flat rod has a point at the bottom and three cranes in flight plus flower and leaf motifs at the top. The head, neck, and body of each crane are made of white beads, or pearls? While both the wings and the tail are made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feathers outlined with metal, the wings also have a row of what look to be white pearls in between. The eyes are outlined with very light blue beads that have a black bead for a pupil. There is an orange bead at the top of each head. The metal beaks are holding loose threads. Behind the cranes, there are four trees made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feather outlined with metal. The cranes and the trees are connected by a common base that is decorated with four pieces of green mineral, from which hang below four sets of flowers made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feather outlined with metal, and pearls? The outer two sets of flowers have loose threads at the bottom ends. Part of a set of Chinese bridal ornaments.
A flat case that has an oval-like shape. Emboidered with poylchrome designs on both sides. One side has a design consisting of a long-stemmed plant with flowers and an insect above on a yellow background. The other side has a design consisting of a long-stemed plant with flowers and a butterfly above with three birds resting on the plant on a pink-grey background. Each side has a multi-coloured geometric border. At one end, there is a loop of multi-toned blue flat braided cord while the other end has two strips of the same.
Offering consisting of an image depicting good luck symbols printed on a piece of rectangular off-white paper. The image, printed in red, light blue, dark blue, green, and yellow, is of a bearded man with a staff, a crane, a deer, and a bat. A scroll above the figures has a series of Chinese characters, and there is a floral border.
A mirror with a metalwork design in between the border of cloisonne pink-red and dark blue flowers on a light blue background. The back has a woven wire ground with insects, bamboo, flowers, and four characters in cloisonne. The characters are at each side, and at each end. There is a pierced white jade panel in the centre with a design consisting of a temple-like image over a character, with a flower and a dragon at either sides. Another jade pendant (part b) is hanging on one end with three humans on the front and four characters on the back. The metal handle on other end has a cloisonne design the same as the border.
Long multicoloured vest with appliqué roundels. The vest has a centre opening with frog closures. The sides are open, held together by three turquoise bands. The collar border has peony and butterfly motifs in blue and green on a mauve ground. On the front and back is a diamond pattern in turquoise, blue and ecru. In the centre is a large roundel with a yin-yang symbol in silver and gold. The four surrounding roundels have with different variations of silver bars on a black ground. The border around the edges has a prunus motif in pink, purple and blue on an orange ground edged with pink. There are tin reflectors, green glass eyes and white fur. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.
Pink cape with embroidery, wide collar and centre opening with cotton ties. The collar and border around the sides have orchid, mallow, daisy and chrysanthemum motifs with blue scalloped trim on pink ground. The back has large peacock and floral motifs on pink ground. The inside lining is pale green silk.
Paper offering composed of a piece of off-white paper with a square of foil at the centre. The central piece of paper is flanked by two pieces of rectangular beige paper, and all three pieces are folded over a piece of brown paper. Slight overall dish shape.
