Decapitated head opera prop. Representation of a human head. Hollow head with bamboo loop sticking out of the top. The bamboo is wrapped in a grey coloured fibre. Head has painted black coloured hair, painted red lips, and painted eyes and eyebrows. Head is open at neck. The inside of the head has strips of bamboo that are tied with fibre and is lined with newspaper (paper mache).
Cantonese opera prop. Part a is the sword and part b is the sheath or sword covering. There is a scalloped wooden piece attached to the side of the sheath that has two holes in it near each end. A large wooden bead is attached to a beige coloured fibre cord. The cord is strung through the two holes near one end and is secured with knots. The sheath and sword handle are red and are decorated with gold coloured scrolled and dotted designs.
Cantonese opera prop. The flute has a bone mouthpiece at one end with black stripes and a series of holes down its length. The black stripes consist of a wrapping of thread covered by a black adhesive. Stripes are grouped at each end: fourteen near the mouthpiece and twelve at the opposite end. These sections are separated by two stripes paired in the centre. The holes cover the lower half (away from the mouthpiece) and are spaced between stripes in line. Two holes are on the underside at the opposite ends from the mouthpiece. The flute shaft is blocked by a bamboo joint.
Golden wooden cube with circular hole bored in the centre--hole has two parallel wires running through it. Thick, twisted electrical cord runs from one side of the wooden square, ending in a plug.
Prop horn. Silver, metal horn with a lacquered wooden body; the wooden body has seven finger holes. End of wooden body is covered with a silver, metal fitting. The long reed mouthpiece is attached to this metal fitting. Part a: body of horn, part b: bell-shaped metal end piece, part c: mouthpiece.
Half -cylindrical cup-shaped tin burner with tapered foot on red coloured tin back board. Top two corners of back board on the diagonal and there is a hole in the centre. Outer surface of burner is yellow and red and is decorated with Chinese characters. On either side of the piece, there are two handle-like protrusions that bend upwards, are threaded through a circular disk and attach near the rim of the piece by two small nails.

Long decorative hair pin of a blue coloured dragonfly. Two oval-shaped wings are on either side of the long and narrow body. There is a flower design located just above the head. Two antennae protrude from the head and are attached to two pompoms. One pompom is pink and one is green. Just below the pompoms and extending back towards the end of the insect on either side are two flowers with long stems and closed petals. The hair pin extends from the base of the insects' body to a sharpened point.

Part a is a grasshopper(?), has three protruding legs on either side of its narrow body, and has three flower petal designs below its legs on either side of the body and one in behind. There are two round red coloured stone(?) for eyes. Protruding from the tip of the face are two long wire antennae and just above are two shorter antenna attached to two pink, and white, red and green pompoms.
