On the edges of the skirt and pleats are black borders, some with a floral trim. On the front and back are square panels with peony, vase, peach, ‘Buddha’s hand’ citron, Ruyi scepter, pair of scrolls and sword motifs in gold, pink, red, blue, green and brown. The inside is unlined.

Purple damask skirt with pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with two loops. The purple damask is woven containing the eight Buddhist objects of good fortune. On the edges of the skirt are black borders with gold trim. On the front and back are panels with elaborate borders and butterfly motifs surrounding a rectangular picture of a rooster in red, gold, yellow, black, green and blue. The inside is unlined.

Dark blue tunic with a Mandarin collar, side slits and side opening with frog closures. There is a pocket on the right inner flap. The inside is unlined.

Long black blouse with Mandarin collar, slender sleeves, side slits and side opening with elaborate frog closures. There is a pocket on the inside flap.

Brown, long sleeve shirt. The shirt has a rounded neck, side slits and buttons down the front centre. There is a pocket with a rounded flap on the right side.

Dragon mask with rotating eyes, ears on springs, and movable lower jaw. The figure is painted with abstract designs in red, green, blue, white, and black overall and has fluffy, off-white hair for eyebrows, on underside of ears, and in nostrils. The figure also has a black horn at the top of its head and an undyed beard made of plant fibre. Several small, circular mirrors accent the design and there is one larger, metal disc on the forehead.

Coin, round, with a four-sided hole at the centre, a rim around the outer edge and the centre hole. The obverse has four characters, and the reverse has two characters. Hongwu tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in Chinese characters on obverse; wu top (value 5), fu bottom (mintmark) in Chinese characters on reverse. Rim widths uneven with irregular edges; reverse field slightly pitted; scratches on obverse.
