Black cotton jacket. The jacket has a short standing collar, long sleeves and centre opening with brass frog closures. The ends of the sleeves are not hemmed. The collar and centre opening are reinforced with a band of white cotton. The inside is unlined.

Daoist album leaf. Gold painted Chinese calligraphy in six columns on a piece of brown silk that has been mounted on off-white damask-patterned silk on paper. The text relates to Xu Xun and the depiction of a soaring curtain encircling the homestead.
Deity figure robe with a yellow body, white cuffs, a red collar, and a red and green border along the sides and bottom of the body. The body and the tops of the arms are decorated with multicoloured and metallic embroidery featuring a dragon figure and floral motifs.
Deity figure hat with a yellow front that tapers towards the top and is lobed along the sides with a pink, green and yellow pompom at the peak. The hat is ornamented with pink, green and gold sequins as well as plastic and glass beads. Two pieces of wire emerge from the back at the base.
Long thin band with woven pattern. The pattern repeats an ‘X’ motif in white against short red lines, with green borders on white ground. The band is joined together by unwoven strands.
Two light green damask silk skirt panels (part a-b) with embroidery. The panels are not sewn into a skirt--there is no waistband. There are thin borders running down the skirt and along the bottom hem with multicoloured floral motifs on black ground and blue floral trim. There is a dense section of embroidery on each panel with phoenix, peony, orchid, peach and Qilin motifs on light green ground. The damask is woven containing large chrysanthemum motifs. The inner edges are lined with dark red silk; the skirt is otherwise unlined.
Blue silk cape with embroidery. The cape has yellow edging and blue ties around the neck. Around the centre opening and bottom hem is a goldfish motif in gold, yellow, orange and white on blue ground. The inner lining is white cotton.
