Daoist album leaf. Painting depicting Xu Xun and the tossed goblet that turns into doves. A man is standing inside a building in front of a table with five white cups in front of him. There are two other tables, each with white cups lined up. The figure's hand is raised towards two white birds flying out of the building, and there are several male figures, most of whom have swords, flags or other weapons, standing at the threshold of the building and walking away from the building. The tops of flags and weapons are poking out from behind clouds. There are blue and green rocky outcrops in the foreground, and blue and green mountains in the background. Dark purple robe with rounded neck, tapered sleeves with hoof cuffs and a side opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the centre front and back. The collar border has a gold peony motif on a red ground, edged with gold braid and pink trim. The cuffs have gold braid outside and black cotton lining inside. The robe lining is yellow linen.
