Item Search

The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

The Gift2004-2/379

S'abadeb-Seattle Art Museum According to the artist, the imagery here represents the passing of knowledge from teacher to student and was created for a school fundraising effort. The title of the piece refers to qualities that educators impart to their students, such as the gifts of enlightenment, empowerment, pride, and strength, in order to keep the circle strong for future generations. Kelly Cannell uses elements drawn from taditional Central Coast Salish design, which she learned from her mother, artist Susan Point.
