Off-white weaving with a centre blue and red argyle design, framed by a border of red, blue and grey squares. Top and bottom of weaving show three narrow stripes of the principle colours and a red wave pattern bisecting a blue and grey band.
Small canoe bailer made of cedar bark with wooden handle. Outer bark on exterior surface, but removed from ends which are pleated and tied to the wooden handle. The ends are secured with white cotton string which has been covered over with red cherry bark. An off-white coloured plant material, possibly yellow cedar bark, has been wrapped loosely around the length of the handle in the manner of a decoration. Small wooden splints have been inserted between the inner and outer bark, two on each side, to keep the edges straight.
Print with two serpentine shapes with shifting grey-green hues, running vertically up image. Grey arcing points also run vertically up image with light yellow-brown semicircles where the arcs meet the edge of the image. Background shifts in colour from black to dark green, and there is a grey-green band at the bottom if image. Edition number, title, signature and date are at the bottom in pencil. Edition 54/100.
Rectangular Salish style weaving with a dark brown geometric pattern in stepped diamond design and four grey-brown triangles at the edges. One end has a woven cord sewn along its length, ending in short tassels.
Square bentwood box with lid and two twisted root bindings. Formline design of faces and feathers painted in black and red. Lid is black. Parts c-d, the lashings, are inside box. A newspaper clipping is taped on the inside.
Coil and slat, round basketry tray with two handles. Beading design around outer edge, alternating between red and black bark. Rim coiled near handles and wrapped otherwise. Four chevron designs on inside of tray, in black and red bark with yellow-white grass, surrounded by a vertical pattern in red and black.
Oval shaped openwork coiled cedar root basket. Parallel wood slat base construction. Walls of basket are made with two slats followed by an openwork area then two more slats, with two openwork areas overall. The rim is decorated with entwined loopwork. The slats are decorated with rows of beading in canary grass, red and black dyed cherry bark.
Brown, circular woven basket with vertical sides and two small semicircular handles attached on opposite sides near the top. Alternating vertical geometric designs in red, and red, white-yellow and black ring the sides.
