From card: "Wallet like. Made by Makah, sold to Tsihilis (Chehalis) & Chinuks (Chinooks)."Card records locality as Bruseport, Wash. but notes that Bruseport is unknown and that this may possibly be Boistfort. Another more likely possibililty is that this is Bruceport.

From card: "Flexible, more or less cylindrical baskets, one with slight expansion toward rim; which on both of them is braided and also looped on one. In partially open wrapped twining, undecorated except for a few brown stripes of the basic cedar bark, not covered with the yellowish fiber strips of the rest."

From card: "Flexible cylindrical, braided rim basket, in plain plaited weave, of narrow cedar bark strips ofr decoration covered in irregular vertical portions with the yellow bark or grass strip."

From card: "Made by a woman who had been blind for 20 years. Cylindrical basket sloping slightly in at rim for 1" deep cover. Wrapped coiled weaving decorated with a band of standing human figures in brown against yellow ground."
