Unpainted wooden canoe paddle. T-shaped grip. Diamond shaped blade with a rounded tip. The shaft is cylindrical at the centre, but flattens at both ends where it meets the blade or grip.

MaskA1967

Mask depicting a face with two moveable eyes and two separate ears. Skin with brown fur attached as eyebrows and hair. The round eyes are painted with a central light blue dot outlined by a black circle with a projecting green eyelid overtop. The eyes are surrounded by a green area that connects across the bridge of the nose. The forehead has a black outlined red split u. The ears are outlined by red. The tip of the nose has cut out red nostrils and is also attached separately. A black outlined red split u is on each cheek. A red line goes around the nose and the mouth area. Red is painted at either lower side. The cut out open red mouth has a black moustache above. The chin is black. Cloth remnants along the edge of the mask. White and green cord are attached at the back through metal loops.

Carved wooden standing figure. Represents a female, with her face carved in deep relief. Heavy brows which formerly had hair and eyebrows of bear fur. Some white paint left on chin and cheeks. Large deep eyes, wide downturned nose, opened mouth, and pronounced breasts. Remnants of strips of skin (hair lost) attached to forehead. Arms alongside body and hands on hips. Wide legs. Skin remnants also near groin.

Grave FigureA1781

Carved wooden standing figure. Represents a male with his right hand on his breast and his left hand on his abdomen. Face carved in relief, wide downturned nose, open mouth, large deep eyes and heavy brows. Remnants of skin and hair on head nailed to head. Light brown paint around eyes, nose and jaw, also traces of white paint around mouth, nose and eyes. Formerly had hair and eyebrows of bear fur. Faint red band around forehead. Also strip of hairless skin on right groin.

Carved, wooden bear mask with human eyes, nose and mouth. The face is mostly black with green nostril and ovoids that outline the black eyes; brow is black. The mouth has carved teeth; the mouth is painted black with green ovoids repeated along the upper lip. The ears are attached to the top of the head and are decorated with black U-forms. The inside of the mask is hollow. The mask is painted black and green with stylized designs.
