Silkscreen print of a heron standing with head down, surrounded by salmon revealing the contours. The salmon are various shades of blue, with pink, green and grey accents. The background is a light sky blue, which blends into a light grey-blue at the bottom. Inscription written in pencil along the bottom of the print.. Print 06/100 in series.

Violin Case3290/1

Woven basketry violin case. Made of bear grass (white), cherry bark (red), and cedar bark (black) beading over cedar root. The maker's signature is in gold beading at the top of the case. There are two hinges of leather, and on the opposite side, a woven handle and two leather ties. The base and interior are plain.

Basket3320/1 a-b

Large circular basket (part a) with lid (part b). Both are made from a coil weave. Imbricated diamond designs on the lid, and an imbricated diagonal or stepped design around the side. The lid is round with a deep lip, which fits on the raised lip of the basket. The basket has two woven handles extending up from the rim on either side.

Loom3298/1 a-d

Blanket loom composed of four wooden parts. Two upright frame pieces (parts a-b) are relatively flat in profile, with three rectangular matching cutouts for the rollers, and the top of each tapering to a point. Two rollers (parts c-d) are cylindrical with thin cylindrical ends which insert into the cutouts in the frame.

Bentwood Box3298/4

Bentwood box with pitch on the interior. There is a hole drilled in each upper corner of each side. On the front and back of the box there are light carvings - a large triangle at centre fills most of the space, with a row of small upside-down triangles along the upper edge. The box folds have fibre sewn throughout to stitch it together.

Fragment of a mountain goat twill weave blanket. Three of the edges are cut. Strips of red fabric and black fabric are woven into the twill; the red strips go across one direction, the black stips run across the other.

Dance Cape3298/3

Dance cape made from red and white serge trade cloth. Off-white cut-out appliques on red cloth (winged or stepped "S"-shapes and dots), with an off-white fringe border and collar. Cape is composed of three pieces of red fabric, stitched together to form about 270 degrees of a circle. There are two bone(?) toggles at the collar, and a single loop extending from the right side.

Tumpline3328/2

Long woven tumpline with repeating geometric pattern. Design is of repeated triangles, in light purple and red or burgundy, which form V-shapes and lines with a yellow background. Each end is finished with alternating bands of heathered black and light green, which tapers to warp fibres that are braided to create the carrying straps. Knots have been tied at both ends.

Fishing Creel3328/1

Fishing creel basket with attached lid. The basket is constructed of coil weaving with an irregular curved rectangular base, concave back and convex sides creating a bulge at the centre of basket narrowing to rounded rectangular mouth. Imbricated with insect designs in red and black bark. The lid is attached by two rawhide ties. There is a rectangular hole woven in the centre of the lid. There is a small slit in the front edge of the lid, and just below the rim of the basket. The interior is plain. (A brown shoelace has been tied to the back of the basket.)

South coast style double-weave basketry hat. Hat is cone-shaped, with a fine tight weave, and undecorated. The top of the hat is flat, with four larger crossed pieces at centre. Inside, there is a woven band to fit on a head.
