Square ceramic tile with scene painted on front. Surface is glazed. Background is black and all other design components done in dark teal. Central design of two figures, one sitting on a ladder and the other standing on a stool, pulling grapes off a trellis(?). Both have short hair. The figure on the ladder is a female, wearing a dress and high boots. The figure on the stool is a male, wearing shorts and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Both are putting the grapes from the trellis(?) into baskets on the back of a donkey, between the two of them. “Autumn” written, in a slight arc, along the top edge of the tile. Raised grid across entire back of tile. Manufacturer's mark, Minton' Hollins & Co., stamped on back. Inscription on back.

Square ceramic tile painted white with dark blue designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Entire background is a meander-like design. Quarter circles in each corner, with scalloped edges and floral motifs inside of them. Small white flowers depicted across surface, with three large circles towards centre of tile. Circles have scalloped edges, with loops, and floral motifs inside of them. The circle closet to the left edge has a crane. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, stamped in between ridges. Inscription on back.

Square ceramic tile painted cream with dark brown designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Plain line border along all edges. Tile divided into four sections with plain lines. Top right and bottom left sections have same design. Abstract sun in centre of square sections, surrounded by four smaller star-like designs in the corners. Top left and bottom right sections have similar design. Large quarter circles take up majority of the squares. Quarter circle in the top left section comes to a point in top right corner. Quarter circle in the bottom right section comes to a point in top left corner. Both circles have floral motifs inside them. The top left quarter circle has a white band along its edge, the bottom right one has a dark brown band. Next to the circles, in both sections, are butterflies with angular wings. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Maw & Co. Ld., stamped between ridges.

Square ceramic tile painted cream with black and grey designs overtop. Surface is glazed. Quarter circles in corners with floral motifs inside them. Grey band around edges, lined in black. Stylized triangles attached to grey bands, pointing towards centre of tile. Central design of a circular fan depicting a woman on a balcony, overlooking the ocean. The woman is waving a handkerchief at ships, wearing a long, draping robe. Her black hair is pinned up. In the background, behind the fan, are branches with cherry blossoms. Raised grid across entire back of tile.

Square ceramic tile painted dark yellow with dark brown designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Large “X” shape covers entire front. Behind the “X”, in the centre of the tile and the corners, are circles. Along the edges, in the space between the circles in the corners, are small rectangles. All of the shapes are filled with a mixture of floral and curvilinear motifs. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, stamped in between ridges. Inscription on back.

Square ceramic tile painted white with light and dark blue designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Central design of five white flowers inside of a dark blue circle. Eight grouping of leaves surround the circle, painted to look like they are growing out of it. Circle is inside of an eight-pointed star outline. Outline made of a light blue band with white dots inside it. In the spaces between the outline and the tile edges are floral and curvilinear motifs. Raised grid across entire back of tile, with smooth rectangle in middle. Inscription on back.

Square ceramic tile with floral and geometric motifs painted on front. Surface and sides are glazed. Background is dark brown. Triangle outlines, with plums(?) painted inside of them, in the tile corners. Triangle outlines connect to a white hexagon outline, in the centre of the tile, with diagonal lines. Designs of peaches and plums, surrounded by light and dark green leaves, inside of hexagon. In the space between the hexagon outline and the edges of the tile are depictions of light purple and pink plum blossoms with white leaves. Raised grid across entire back of tile. Inscriptions, handwritten and stamped, on back.

Square ceramic tile with floral and geometric motifs painted on front. Surface and sides are glazed. Tile background is off-white. Black border of two lines, one thicker than the other, along all sides. Lines intersect at the corners. Central design of a black diamond with white leaves inside of it. In middle of diamond is a round periwinkle blue flower, with a yellow centre. Four dark brown branches extend from flower, outside of the diamond. Branches point towards tile corners. Small periwinkle blue flowers at the ends of the branches, with offshoots of dark and light green leaves on either side. Small circle and larger circular outline imprinted on back of tile. Inscription on back with manufacturer's name, T & R Boote.

Square ceramic tile with floral motifs carved in relief across front. Surface is glazed. Light blue-green border around all edges. Central design of a thin green leaf, stretching from the bottom right corner to the top left corner, on a white background. Four dark yellow Dandelion flowers, with wavy brown stems, growing out from the bottom of the leaf. The two largest flowers point away from the leaf, and are in the top right and bottom left corners. The two smaller flowers point towards the leaf and are both in the top left corner, overtop of the leaf. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile.

Square ceramic tile with floral motif carved in relief on front. Surface is glazed. Background painted dark green. Central design of a dark purple-brown flower on a long, thin olive green stem. Two half flowers on either side of central flower, on the edges of tile. Both are dark-purple brown, on thin olive green stems, and have wider petals than the central flower. All three flowers are connected along the bottom edge of the tile with olive green vines. Raised grid on back of tile. Inscriptions on back.
