Rectangular bottomed container with gently expanding walls to an oval rim. The wooden rim is lashed on with spruce root. Four pieces of green-blue cellulose cloth are also woven into the rim. Purple and pink pieces are beaded into the lashing. To make the walls of the container the bark has been folded and stitched along two sides with spruce root. The walls have horizontal scraped decorative patterns with triangles on four of the lines and two lines separating each band--the triangles have faded. On the bottom of the container are two bands of four lines diagonally crossed.

Silkscreen print. Head and upper wings of stylized naturalistic bird emerging from an off-centred blue diamond. Slightly bent white head outlined in black, eye area and portions of beak are highlighted in black; beak placed against throat; u-like shaped black wings are outlined in white, wing on right partially obscures head, top of wing on left held away from head, also tip partially obscures beak. At lower side on left of diamond "through the smoke hole"; at lower side on right, "PJanze 81 136/225."

Raven has a profile head facing to the right side and a frontal body with the wings and the feet extended to the sides. Head has a large ear that has a rectangular top and an upside down red split u at the base. Black circle in circle eye is outlined by a tapering oval surrounded by an ovoid that is thick at the top and joins the lip band at the base. Open beak has a red u form design joining the to lip band. Thin pointed red tongue has two equidistant downward pointing extensions. Body has a sideways double u form at thee neck. Circular body contains a profile bird. Below this, there is an ovoid with three downward pointing feathers for the tail. U-shaped legs have claw feet. Abstract design in the ovoid at the top of the two-feathered wings that have red u forms and a black split u. Beneath claw on the right side, there is printed the artist's signature. Pemcil inscription across the bottom reads '"RAVEN" PJanze 124/200 July 76'. On the back, in the upper corner on the left side, a pencil inscription reads '20.00'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, brown paper piece.

Noble Woman with Labret2635/1

Female face carved from poplar wood. Red paint on lips and around nostrils; black eyebrows and pupils. Protruding bottom lip has oval-shaped unpainted section across top. Mouth is open, revealing a full mouth of individually carved square teeth. Human hair emerges from scalp in tufts. A long rectangular strip of rabbit fur hangs on other side of the face. Leather thong for hanging. Artist signature on inside.

Hollow tubular bone, somewhat flared at two open ends, which are cut to represent the open mouth of an animal. Eyes are carved above each mouth; incised designs indicate nostrils and gills. Two small holes at centre top of tube.

Circular rattle formed of two bent concentric circles of wood holding four compartments containing the sound-making pebbles; a wooden rod is inset across the centre. Plain on one side and painted with red criss-crosses on the other, and with red and blue stripes around the outer ring.

Square, rattle-bottomed basket with a round upper rim. Basket with open weave as follows: base is plaited (double layer); sides - the warp is double and is left bare, a slat is placed in between the warp strands, a row of plain twined weaving follows. The result is an "openwork weave" which is not open. Four of the weft strands are dyed and in sets of three double warp strands are dyed brown. Result is sort of a plaid design. Rattle inside double base.

Basket made of birch bark that has been bent and sewn together with birch root. Birch twig around rim is overcast with birch root. Geometric design around sides is scratched on. On one side is lines with triangles (vertex down). On the other side are vertical lines of diamonds. The darker side of the bark is to the outside. (Raley label #165 on base.)
