Part of a set of 5 stencils representing a diving whale. The stencils depicts a dorsal fin with a head inside its lower half and a larger head that points down and away from the fin. The larger head has a front-facing eagle head in its eye. The stencil has a combination of cutout, painted, and drawn areas. Only one area (the upper left corner) appears to have been used as a stencil. Both sides of this area have been used.

Depicted are: a left-facing man at the far right of the image; a right-facing raven at the far left of the image; and a vertical central halibut with its head toward the top of the image. The image itself is centred horizontally and its vertical orientation is further toward the top than the bottom of the paper. Artist name signed in pencil at lower right below image.

In the middle is a large, joint tail feather followed by the raven’s heads facing in opposite direction, the body, wing and talon are situated near the end of the open bracelet. There are two thin cut out rectangles for a clasp which is broken. Fine crosshatching in negative space. Artist inscription inside.

Pieces are held at bottom centre by three metal rectangular pieces (parts c-e) that screw into the two main pieces. Each side (parts a-b) is 147 x 115 x 3 cm. Made of epoxy powder-coated, machine-cut aluminum.
