Outer two holes have one chain attached, all facing inwards. Also attached to the inner side of the drum is a protruding stick, 16.4 cm long, wrapped in strips of rags and string. Part b is a drum holder consisting of two metal rings, joined by two metal bars with linking ends. Canvas strapping attached to rings in four places, knotted and looped at other end.
