Barkcloth dress, sleeveless a-line with a v-neck. Painted with brown and yellow geometric designs at the neckine, armholes, acorss the chest, in a v shape on the torso, and in two bands near the hem on the face only.

Bark garment, semi-circular in shape with a rounded indent along the bottom centre; bordered with a row of red alternating and black seeds along with a row of brown seeds. The central motif consists of two red star shapes outlined in black and cream seeds with a central green circle. In the middle of the garment is an orange circle outlined with rows of grey, red and brown seeds creating a sunburst design. In each upper corner is a collection of red and white and orange and white feathers. Along the outer edge is a fringe of grey and brown seeds with lengths of cane. The upper left edge has a top half of a bird beak hanging on a piece of the fringe. There is twisted fibre twine attached to either side.

Black, triangular piece of leather with a fringe and border of alternating sections of red and black seeds sewn onto it. The centre of the piece features decorative beading with black, red and white-brown coloured seeds, as well as the necks of three gourds, sewn so that they protrude from the leather at a ninety degree angle.

HeaddressH1.34 a-b

Headdress made from an elaborate vertical piece (part b) attached to a woven, hoop-shaped headband (part a). The lower half of the vertical piece consists of several tassels, pom-poms and a god's eye fashioned from blue, red, green and orange yarn; the upper portion consists of a plume of brown, black and white feathers. The headband is a light yellow-brown, woven from thin strips of palm leaf with a Greek key-like pattern encircling the sides.

A short, spherical brown gourd with a long, handle-like protrusion on one side. Images of a mountain, an animal, and crosshatch designs are painted onto the sides in a dark brown colour. The gourd is hollow and filled with a rattling material. A cord loop is strung through a hole in the end of the handle.

Carved rubber (natural latex) figure: two monkeys pulling the tail of a snake that is curled around the upper trunk of a coconut tree. Situated next to the tree and monkeys is a large, jar-like container with a circular lid flanked by two branch-like protrusions. The entire figure is painted red, green, yellow and gold,and is mounted on a square rubber base with a black, carved border.

Beads424/42 a-j

Part a is a long beaded necklace with a large round wooden bead at one end and three large oval-shaped dark brown-green beads descending in size with two small wooden beads on either side of a reddish-brown round bead with circular designs around its middle. Part b is a strung fragment similar to part a. Parts c - i are wooden beads. Part j is a strung fragment of part a(?) that is interspersed with light blue beads and ends with three cone-shaped beads.
