Manioc StrainerH2.109

Manioc strainer and press. Long, narrow, basketry tube. Woven from thin strips of black and undyed stem(?) in a herringbone pattern. One end is open, with a woven loop protruding from one side of the rim, while the other end is closed and has a loop bound with twined cord protruding from it.

A basketry woven roughly triangular shaped fan with herring bone weave. Handle is v-shaped and wrapped with fibre at both ends. Plain natural colour. There is a nail on the front right bottom side.

Woven basket consisting of two rectangular pieces that fit inside of each other. Each is woven in a herringbone pattern and have dark brown edges. The two sections are fastened together with a twisted, tasseled twine.
