Coiled cedar root basket with parallel splint base construction. Basket has a trapezoidal shape. Decorated with beading in six horizontal rows of alternating red/black elongated checker beading. Has a skin handle on one side.

The basket is woven with partial imbrication and discrete figures, simple interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches), parallel splint and watch-spring base construction, and an overcast rim.

Small urn shaped coiled cedar root basket (bifurcated stitches) and lid with knob (part b). Imbricated design of large zig-zag in red cherry bark, grass and dark cherry bark. Lid has four peaks in the same colours. Watch-spring base and lid construction; flange on lid.

Coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches). Imbricated diamond designs in black, tan, and red. Watch-spring construction. Sticker on base inside basket.

Part (a) Heart shaped coiled cedar root basket with inner rim and flared outer rim. Parallel base construction and watch-spring lid construction. Part (b) Lid is convex and sits inset on the inner rim of the basket. Imbricated design look similar to spade shapes that alternate in red cherry bark and cat-tail or black-dyed cherry bark or cat-tail. Lid has same pattern as well as two upper rows of triangles alternating in red or dark cherry bark.

Oblong coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches), watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of two diamonds, each with vertical band on each side, in dark cherry bark with grass. Two small black cherry bark diamonds with red cherry bark centre and two black cherry bark triangular shapes along one side of rim.

Urn shaped coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches) with pedastal foot and lid (part b). Imbricated pattern of vertical rows of dark cherry bark and grass, and red cherry bark and grass. Lid has circular beading in red cherry bark and grass at centre with radiating lines of same pattern as basket.
