Footed, rectangular basket with and extended, rounded shoulder and a flat lid secured with three ribbon ties (fourth tie is missing). Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches): parallel slat base and lid, and splint side construction: overcast rim: foot of two coiled rows: flange on basket. Fully imbricated and beaded. Basket: variation on "half arrow head" design; six vertical stripes per side in red and black with bullrush oblique lines (changing direction with each row) all on bullrush ground. Lid: four rows of (two:one) beading in bullrush in center; two outer rows mostly red and bullrush; remainder of lid in red and black and bullrush horizontal lines interspersed with contrasting stitches.

Pentagonal-shaped coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with foot. Watch-spring base construction. Imbricated square pattern with possible floral motif, outlined in dark cherry bark and filled in with cat-tail grass (?). Small diamond shapes in red cherry bark with cat-tail grass (?) centers, flank main pattern. Foot is beaded in two rows of cat-tail grass (?), indicating bakset may have been made by a basket maker from Spuzzum, B.C.

Flared rectangular coiled basket (bifurcated stitches). Elongated watch-spring base construction rim has an overcast hole which was probably for attaching a handle. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) and red cherry bark in alternating horizontal zig-zag patterns.
