Round basket with tall, straight sides. Rim is openwork formed by top wavy coil. Bands of decoration in brown, beige, and dark brown. Beige bands are of repeating diagonal lines; brown and dark brown bands are of up and down step patterns.

Basket1719/42 a-b

Twined, square basket with rim larger than base. Part b is a lid in the shape of a square pyramid with a flat tip and a lip that fits inside the bottom part. Two handles cross the basket; handles are of skin with root coiled around them; exterior is decorated with false embroidery; band of alternating brown and dark brown trees at rim; one brown and one dark brown moose ? on opposite sides; one brown and one dark brown butterfly ? on other opposing sides.

Baby Carrier1719/12 a-c

Large oblong cradle (part a) with protruding curved handle, two skin straps attached at either end, a skin cover (part b) , and a piece of fibre cording (part c). Cradle has overall light and medium brown checkered weaving pattern, and is decorated with alternating diagonal rows of black and red cherry bark.

Cylindrical basket that tapers slightly towards the bottom. It has a long arched handle and a circular lid that is secured to the basket container by two strips of skin. The basket is decorated with alternating sections of white coloured woven cedar root and light brown cedar root with alternating sections of red-black cherry bark.

Basketry TrayNd711

Small narrow, oblong tray with loopwork edging. Parallel wood slat foundation and walls, five slats wide and two high. Decorated with canary grass and cherry bark. Red cherry bark on the top row, and black dyed cherry bark on the bottom row. Makers' names and date written in blue ink on the bottom of the tray.

Round basket with tall, straight sides and fitted, hinged lid. Hinge and fasteners at front are of skin thong. A handle goes from front to back and is made of skin thong with bark coiled around it. Sides and top are decorated with X patterns in brown with dark brown intersections.

Burden Basket1719/39

Rectangular burden basket that tapers slightly towards the bottom. Basket has a white coloured skin strap that attaches to one side. Strap thickens in the centre. Basket is decorated with similar designs on all four sides: a butterfly-like pattern on the upper portion of the basket, and three sections of alternating rows of red and black coloured cherry bark.

Light brown woven hand basket with two handles bridging the top tied at either side. A light yellow-white fibre is used for the weft, creating a decorative, rectangular, spotted effect. A star-like, red, black, and yellow-white figure is featured on the two longer sides, with a vertical band of red and yellow-white patterning on each of the ends. The top edge of the basket is ringed with scalloped open work.

Light brown, square woven basket with a flat, fitted lid--lid is hinged on one side with two leather ties. Two woven handles bridging the top of the basket are tied to the sides at either end with leather strips. Two leather ties are affixed, respectively, near the front edge of the lid and the top edge of the basket's front side. Vertical, patterned bands in red-brown and black are featured on the lid and all four sides.
