Miniature skin boots with brown fur, red stitching on the tops of the feet, and a white, cloth trim. Cloth trim is stitched with red, yellow and blue thread. Each has a red, yellow and blue yarn tassel attached to the fabric trim. The boots are tied together with blue yarn tied in a loop.

Dark brown, elliptical vessel with a high, rounded bottom. Vessel is lined with fabric and filled with wax.

Boy’s inner coat, or parka, of caribou skin with the fur to the inside (Note: photo shows inner and outer coats together). The coat has a rounded close fitting hood; the crown is slightly pointed. The coat is thigh length and has a slit in the middle of the front. The hood opening is trimmed with a white band of fur.

Pair of boots made of brown and white caribou skin with the fur on, with soles made of dehaired seal skin. The soles are boat-like with vertical crimps. Between the sole and upper section of the foot a red-brown dyed narrow strip of dehaired skin is inserted all around. The leg section consists of white caribou fur with vertical brown caribou panels on either side of the leg. The front of the leg section and the vamp are made out of a single piece of fur. The top of the boots are lined with horizontal bands of white caribou fur and brown dyed dehaired skin. The band of brown skin is decorated with circular and semi-circular motifs of yellow-white cotton thread. The tops of the boots have a casing of brown dehaired skin through which a cotton cord is strung. On either side of the boots a long strip of dehaired caribou skin is attached into the seam of the sole.

A dark brown bag with white edges. The front and back have a designed weave pattern of blue, yellow, green, red, and white. The sides have a diamond-shaped design of red, green, yellow, and blue. The bag is lined inside, possibly with a synthetic fabric.

One of two fragments (part a) demonstrating fur decoration. The sampler has alternating strips of white and brown caribou fur sewn together with sinew. The stitching is visible on the back. There is one finished edge.

Women’s inner coat, or parka, of caribou skin with fur on the inside. The coat has a close fitting hood and narrow shoulders. It is calf length and flares at the bottom. A narrow red band of fabric is sewn along the hem.

Man’s inner coat, or parka, of caribou fur. The coat is waist length, has a long back flap and a close fitting, slightly pointed, hood. The hood is trimmed with white fur. On the skin side along the hem and the hood a green curved tape of cloth is sewn. The coat is yellow-white with patches of brown fur.

Women’s outer coat, or parka, of brown caribou fur. The coat has a large elongated hood and very broad angular shoulders. The coat is waist length and has a long rectangular back tail and a small narrow rectangular front flap. The hemline, hood opening and front of sleeves are trimmed with white fur. On the forearms of the sleeves two white bands of fur are inserted. On the back two narrow triangular pieces of white fur and a tiny tuft of white fur are inserted. To the top of the back four caribou ears are attached with two white tassels of fur hanging from the ear tips. A paired tassel of white fur is attached to the right shoulder on the front. Paired narrow fringes are hanging from the back of the hood and along the hemline. The back of the coat is enlarged through the insertion of an extra piece of fur. To the rim of the hood a white label and a metal button are attached.

Pair of women’s outer leggings (part a-b) of caribou fur with the fur to the outside. The leggings have a close fit for the foot and ankle and expand like a funnel reaching above the knee at the back of the leg and tapering up on the front to form a thong that can be looped over the belt of the trousers. The top edge and the area above the ankle are decorated with alternating strips of white caribou fur and black and red dyed strips of dehaired skin. The feet are made of the legskins of the caribou.
