Translucent brown-gold scoop-shaped ladle with a wide front tapering towards the back. A tab-like handle protrudes from the back, bent at a sharp, upward angle.
Whale bone carving of a hunter carrying an unstrung cable-backed bow and bucket, attached to an irregularly-shaped base (part a); figure is standing along front edge of base. Small stone structure (part b), made up of rocks stacked on top of one another, on opposite end of base; attached with two pegs. Figure has intricately carved facial features, consisting of oval-shaped eyes, wide nose, and frowning mouth. Figure has a large skin pack strapped across back; sinew straps wrap around hunter's chest. Pack has long rods sticking out of either end; tufts of white fur around where the rods protrude. Small back quiver slung over hunter's right shoulder; self-nocked arrow shafts (parts c-k) fill quiver. Bucket hunter is holding in left hand is filled with dark red and orange stones. Figure is unsigned.
Ulu type knife. Metal blade is crescent-shaped with a beveled bottom edge. Blade held in place by bronze metal plates on both sides, that slot into the underside of the handle. Three copper nails have been hammered through the bronze plate into the blade to hold it in place, with the ends smoothed to blend with the bronze plate. The handle is a rectangular piece of horn, with a curved top edge. A hide cord is tied around centre of handle.
Stoneware figure of a reclining walrus, supported by its foreflippers. Figure has large incised eyes, deep oval-shaped nostrils, an open mouth and two white tusks; tusks connect with belly of walrus. Small dots punctured across snout. Foreflippers have four semi-circles indented along the bottom edge, highlighting digits. Wide lines incised around neck. Hind flippers are curved to left of body. Figure is hollow and base is unglazed; rest of body is dark brown with brown-red highlights throughout. Unsigned.
Stoneware figure of a bear with its head titled back. Bear is attached to two rectangular bases; one base underneath forelegs and one below hind legs. Figure has indented circular eyes and nostrils, two semi-circular ears and an open mouth with four white teeth; interior of ears and nostrils are painted olive green. Four ovals incised along front bottom edges of paws, imitating claws; small rounded tail protrudes from back. Figure is hollow and bases are unglazed; rest of body is brown-grey with dark brown speckles throughout. Larger dark brown circles painted across back. Artist signature incised along edge of back rectangular base.
Stoneware figure of a standing man; arms at sides, hands curved around stomach. Face consists of incised eyes, a pointed nose and open mouth; moustache, eyebrows and pupils are painted on. Man has dark brown bangs and side burns; incised lines throughout hair. Figure is wearing a hooded parka, short pants, mittens and tall boots. Parka and pants are dark blue; boots and mittens are dark brown. Parka cuffs and hood opening are trimmed with light grey and dark pink; bottom of parka trimmed in dark pink with yellow spots. Figure is hollow; face and base are unglazed. Unsigned.
Black stone carving of male figure. Face is tilted upward. Head slopes into a roughly shaped, triangular body. Male has circular eyes, a long wide nose, and smiling mouth. Two small nostrils are indented along bottom edge of nose. Mouth is incised, rest of facial features done in relief. Two rounded hands extend from either side of the body. Vertical lines incised along hand edges, imitating fingers. Base is flat.
Black stone carving of a hunter holding a seal, with his right arm raised over his head. Only the seal's head is visible, extending from the area of the man's waist and held by his left hand. Both have incised eyes and mouths. Syllabics inscribed on base.
Bust of an Inuit boy. Carved in black stone, the entire face is surrounded by the edge of a fur hood; the back is plain other than the fur of the hood around the head. Variations in the stone at the back show greenish tones. The base is signed 'Manome', with a green co-op sticker that says 'Manomee', as well as an Eskimo Art Canada sticker.
Standing muskox covered in seal fur. The stuffed animal has sewn skin horns attached, small pads on the bottom of its hooves, round light brown skin eyes with black circles, and a small oval light brown nose.
