A miniature silver spoon with a twisting handle that has sphinx at the end. The back of the bowl of the spoon has a floral design which may possibly be the fleur-de-lis.

Doll1280/1 a-b

A female doll with her black thread hair held into several buns with hair accessories. Her kimono-like robe is blue with a purple, pink, white, green and gold-coloured floral print. Her belt has an alternating pattern of rows of white and gold-coloured squares. There is a partially opened brown, black, and dark red parasol held down in her right hand as she holds the folds of her robe in her left hand. She is wearing black geta-like footwear as she stands on a flat rectangular wood base painted black and lined with fabric. The doll (part a) is in a brown wood and glass case (part b) which has a purple tassel on the door.

Sugar Bowl441/7

Round metal bowl with scalloped edge held up by three dragon figures that are arched outwards and then come in at the base to create the foot of the bowl. In between each dragon figure are two raised panel sections depicting various scenes. The first set of panels includes a man with a raised hand near a building and some trees, and flowers and branches. The second set of panels depicts flowers and a small bird about to take flight, and a man sitting near a tree with his foot resting on his other knee. The third set of panels displays bamboo grass and a dragon figure.

Line Marker Tool1306/1

Dark-reddish brown oval-shaped tool that narrows at one end. Narrow end has a rounded tip, has a dark brown coloured wheel that is inserted through the top, and has a metal turning device that is attached to one side by a bolt. Wider end has a large opening and is black in the centre.

Black coloured double-sided oval-shaped container (part a) with lid (part b). Branch-like handle that splits down the middle to attach to both sides of the container and lid. Raised branch and floral designs cascade down one side of the entire object from the largest branch.

Tobacco Container1273/3

Dark brown-red rectangular-shaped container with fibre cording, globular bead, and dark red wooden toggle. Container is in two parts and connected together by fibre cording. The larger part of the container lifts up from the smaller bottom piece. Both pieces are elaborately carved with geometric designs. The top and bottom piece are edged with a protruding scalloped rim and decorated with punctured holes. The round toggle has two animal figures facing each other and are holding the cord in their teeth.

Plate1042/12

Oval-shaped plate with rippled edge. Blue and white band decorated with flowers and leaves runs diagonally across the middle of the plate. The rest of the dish is white on one side of the band and light green on the other side of the band. On the underside of the plate, there are blue graphic designs on the outer rim, Japanese characters near the centre, and a smaller light-green section.

Light-brown and white coloured fan with orange tassels at the end. The fan is painted with images of birds and branches. There are cut-out designs on the slats. Over to one side, there is a small section of white paper that is sandwiched in between layer of wood slats. Silver along the top edge.

Pair of dark-brown coloured wooden sandals with light-brown twisted grass straps and black fibre ties. Rectangular-shaped with rounded edges and straight sides. Underside of both sandals have two large drilled holes in the centre and one large drilled hole at each end. Grass straps have been threaded through and tied with knots in three of the holes near the top of the sandals.
