Bands of bamboo (?) laid horizontally across the shield at the top and bottom, held in place with zigzagging stitched of dark brown rattan (?); bands continue on reverse. Edges of shield are painted black; centre is painted red-brown. wooden handle on reverse.

Large, lute-like wooden instrument with a solid front and a hollow, open back. An ornately carved neck with two holes at the top rises from the body. Strings and tuning pegs are missing.

Hollow, dark brown wood shaft has slight swelling at butt to act as a mouthpiece and the metal lance-olate leaf- shaped point is fastened to the other end with three sets of stem ? binding, the lower two of which are wrapped around four times while the top one of which is wrapped around six times.

A small rounded red-brown gourd with a carved mushroom cap wood stopper in the neck secured by string.

Red-brown gourd (part a) that has a spiral pattern burned black on brown. Carved cap with a woven cover is attached to the gourd by a piece of string through the cap which is then secured to the side of the gourd by a yellow bead. Twenty-seven dart covers (parts b-bb) made of carved pith are inside the gourd.

Two large tiger claws connected by a cord of beads that has a yellow-white and black checkered pattern with red beads in between. There are two large clusters or yellow-white, black, and red beads around each claw.
