Painting on paper of nine decorated dogwood flowers; done in three rows of three, four and two. Designs inside flowers are (from left to right, top to bottom): hawk, whale, [unknown], whale, sun, sun, eagle, wolf, and fool. All but the second and fourth flowers have leaves along their stems; flowers are a mix of black, green, dark green, gold, lime green, orange, and maroon. Majority of flowers have "B.C." or "British Columbia" written inside them, along with the name of the design. All components are decorated with formline design elements; done in orange, green, red, light blue, gold, lime green, olive green, dark green, black, and brown. Series number, no. 6, title and artist signature written along bottom edge.

Maple Leafs in Face Masks3568/2

Model Totem Pole3552/2

Model totem pole depicting a bear, a figure holding a copper, and a thunderbird on top; nailed to a square base with a rounded top. The thunderbird has separately carved and attached wings spread out at its sides. The bear is in an upright seated position; front paws are resting on top of the human figure, whose body is covered by the copper. Pole is painted dark brown-red with black, red, dark green, and dark blue-grey highlights throughout. Formline design elements painted on the copper and across the bear and thunderbird. Inscriptions carved along back of pole and on base.

Thunder Bird Dance Masks3546/1

Painting on paper depicting two Thunder Bird dance masks; shown in profile, facing one another, and tilted upward. Both have curved beaks with nostril cutouts, thick ridges along their tops, cedar bark fringe extending from the back and bottom edges, and two U-shaped wings along the backs. Underneath the masks are the sides of a Thunder Bird dance cape, designed to look like wings; four feathers on wing underneath left mask and three feathers on wing under right. Mask on left has U-shaped horns and a ridged tongue; mask on right has curved horns and a smooth mouth. Masks and cape elements are decorated with formline designs; done in black, gold, red, dark green, orange, blue, and light green. All cedar bark is painted gold, orange, and yellow. Thunder Bird Dancer in Mask and Costume and Thunderbird masks3546/4

Painting on paper depicting a figure dancing with a Thunder Bird mask and costume; two large Thunder Bird masks painted to right of dancer. Figure's mask has a thick ridge on top with two horns protruding from back; mask is open-mouthed and has white teeth. Cedar bark fringe extending from back edge. Figure is wearing a long cape consisting of cedar bark and wood panels painted to look like feathers; similar feather-like leggings wrapped around calves of dancer. First mask, in top right, is facing left and has cedar bark braid and fringe along bottom edge; ridge with curved horn along top. Horn has an animal motif across side. Second mask, in bottom right, is right facing and has cedar bark fringe all along top, back and bottom sides of mask. Skull-like protrusion on top centre of ridge on head. All masks and costume elements are decorated with formline designs; done in black, white, green, gold, blue, red, and orange. All cedar bark is painted gold, orange, and black. Lady Giant in mask - In cradle puppet movement3546/3

Painting on paper depicting a woman with a cradle puppet. Masked woman is standing behind large cradle and is reaching into it, with her arms stretched out towards the puppet. Smaller puppet is sitting up with its arms bent and reaching for woman; both figures have unbound brown hair. Two long strings connected to puppet's back and are threaded through headboard of cradle, extending onto right side of painting. Cradle has high head and footboards; headboard is more upright, footboard steeply tilted backwards. Doll3502/1 a-b

Female doll in a standing position, made of cloth (part a). Facial features are embroidered with black and red thread. Two red “V” shapes decorate each cheek. Woman has long braided black hair, secured with red ties. Doll has a separate red cloth head ring (part b). The top edges are trimmed with a white fuzzy material, imitating fur, with a large abalone decoration on front. The doll wears a black button blanket with a wide red border along the top, left and right edges. Triangle and diamond designs along band, done in white buttons. Inner edge of border outlined with identical buttons. Central design on blanket of a thunderbird, done in red. Copper depicted on chest of bird, formline design elements across rest of body; done in white, red, blue, yellow, green and black beads. Underneath, she is wearing a striped dress with a lace collar, lace trimmed pants, and a black and red dance apron. Central design of a copper with two red bands underneath. Zigzag pattern, done in light blue beads, overtop the bands. Hanging from the points of the zigzags are gold bells. She is wearing black shoes.

Female doll, in a standing position, made of cloth (part a). Doll has a separate cedar bark head ring (part b), lined with red cloth, with two strips of fuzzy white trim along the top left and right edges, imitating fur. Facial features are embroidered with black thread. Two red diagonal lines decorate each cheek. Woman has long braided black hair, secured with blue ties, and white beaded earrings. She is wearing a black button blanket, with a wide red border along the top, left and right edges. Central design is of a sun(?), done in red. White buttons outline the border and the sun(?). Underneath, she is wearing a purple plaid-patterned dress and a dark blue dance apron. Apron has a central design of three feather-shaped sequins, connected by a green and white beaded arch. Two rows of green and white beads, in a zigzag pattern, beneath central design. Hanging from the points of the zigzags are large white beads. Black lines embroidered along edges of hands, imitating fingers. She is wearing dark brown shoes.
