Ceremonial cushion cover; front panel is silk, and back is patterned cotton. Central design, on front, of rows of different floral motifs, alternating in direction. Design is bordered by wide band with lace-like design. All embroidery done in gold metallic thread; sequins throughout band and central design. Back of cover has dark yellow floral motifs across surface. Collector's label, with culture and place made, attached to back in bottom corner.
Double-woven scarf, with a light side and a dark side. The scarf is divided into sections by changing colours - black to brown on one side, and the negative on the opposite side. The overall pattern is large repeating diamonds with smaller repeating geometric shapes, and thin lines of red.
Small rectangular batik fabric. The long edges have scalloped embroidery, and the short edges have twisted tassels. The fabric is a light yellow-brown, with red motifs. Rectangle design in centre is comprised of repeating diamonds with suns and other shapes within. This is bordered by a band of floral designs, and then repeating lines.
Circular, dome-shaped hat made from leaves with banding around the rim. A circular fabric piece with geometric red and white stitching arranged concentrically around a star design with a mirrored inset caps the hat's centre. Palm leaf painted or stained a red-brown colour, sewn to the rim and embroidered.
Brown, wooden, conical object with a silver, metal base. Both the metal and wooden sections have many rounded, raised rings around the circumference.
Knife (part a) with pointed, wavy-edged blade. Blade has three incised perpendicular lines near handle end, with a deep notch cut into the top edge of the blade, as far as the second incised line. The blade is set into the handle at a 45 degree angle. The wooden handle widens out into a horn-like handle shape. The blade is secured into the handle with a stainless steel ring. The scabbard (part b) is made of malacca wood which appears to have many lengthwise dark and light stripes throughout. The scabbard 'throat' is made of the same dark wood as the handle. The area where the two woods join appears to have been broken and glued back together.

Grey and brown circular object that resembles a spinning top. A spindle emerges form the centre of the topside, with a larger conical knob protruding from the centre of the bottom.
Light blue sheer blouse with embroidery. The blouse has long sleeves, a centre opening and a long angled front hem. The neck, sleeves and hem have satin stitched blue lilies and pink flowers with open work (fabric removed) in dark blue between the flowers. The inside is unlined.
Sword (a) with brown wooden hilt and handle with hexagonal brass ring edge; pointed lip edge and rounded brass insert on both sides; half pear shaped steel blade. Scabbard (b) of two pieces of wood held together by raffia and cotton braided rope with four tassels. Brown upper border with raised square halfway where it is held in place by circular centre of four petal design. Brown curved border with linear design decoration.
