He wears a wide-brimmed hat, undecorated, a sarape or patterned cloth folded and placed over his shoulder, a white blouse and dark pants. Figure is precisely painted. Doll2998/12

A small, stuffed cotton doll, clothed in a white, long-sleeved shirt, with attached full length skirt. The shirt has a pink and blue wool stitched design on the front, and purple cotton stitching around the sleeves. Pink cotton stitching runs up the back. The skirt features a vertical stripe design, of black, blue, purple, red, orange, yellow and green stripes, and is hemmed with white lace. The face features two dark brown circular eyes, a pale pink triangular shaped nose, and a red mouth, all of which are of another material, perhaps felt, that has been adhered to the cotton face. The doll has black wool for hair, styled in two braids, interwoven and tied off with pink and green ribbons. The doll has two buttons sewn on at either side of the hip under the skirt, a dark brown one on the proper right, and a smaller white one on the proper left.

Poncho2998/7

Large black poncho with half sleeves. Square neck opening with tan stitching bordering the collar. Bottom back edge of poncho has twisted wool fringe. There are slits in the seam under sleeve on both sides.

Mask representing a woman-butterfly. The head and bare breasts are of a female human, whereas the lower body, wings and antennae are of a butterfly. The woman has long black hair and red skin. The wings are decorated on each side with a flower on the lower wing and a foliage-like pattern in the upper segment. Mask carved of wood, then coated in a plaster-like substance, before being painted.

Pot2979/8

Small blackware pot of human figure with a tri-lobed basket-like object on his back. The pot is wide at bottom, narrowing toward the neck with slightly convex curvature. The mouth is narrow, inside a very large rim that flares into a three-lobed structure. Decoration on the pot includes carved clovers and incised linear designs. The lobes are decorated with incised diamond shapes. Attached to the front of the pot is a crouched human carrying the pot with a tumpline?, with arms raised and to the rear, holding the rim. The figure has a large head and face, with protruding forehead, nose and chin, carved smiling mouth, and carved eyes.

Figure2979/14

Small clay standing figure, flat in profile with arms flaring slightly outward and hanging to knees, legs slightly bent. A stripe of brown paint decorated the leg at the knees and arms just below the shoulder. The feet protruding and are positioned at an angle. The face is long with a large protruding nose, prominent ears with large holes in the lobes and carved and painted mouth and eyes. A tall hat sits atop the head, painted brown. A ring sits at the neck, open to the front. A carved waist cloth covers the groin, and a lightly carved inverted V-shape sits on the stomach. The figure is covered with a light brown slip, with the orange clay showing through in several areas.

Clay mould of a devil face. The piece has large leaf shaped ears high on the head, with two curved horns between and centred on the forehead. A large nose protrudes from the middle of the face, between carved and protruding eyes under pronounced brows. The mouth is open in a grin. The rear of the skull is hollow and has a bar of wood attached to each side above the midpoint with a dark adhesive.

Small clay figure a standing bat creature. The large head has a wide snot, mouth open, and round, slightly protruding eyes. The ears are round and are placed at the top side of the head. Wings are attached to the back of an armless torso. The legs are long and sturdy looking, with feet pointed slightly down. The back of the figure is decorated with horizontal lines running across each wing, and from the ears to the head, and then vertical lines down the body and to the ends of each leg. The left leg, head and right ear have been broken off and reattached with glue.
