Mask, oval shape in shape with a slight narrowing at the bottom; made of a fibre surface mounted on a bamboo support. Depicted is a face in the lower quarter of the mask. The face has round, cutout eyes and a flat protruding mouth with down attached below. Above and around the face is a curving leaf-like pattern along the sides and centre in black and red on a white ground. Design outlined in vines as lines. Long fibre fringe on band along the entire perimeter. Woven hook at the top.
Geometric and stylized designs are carved into the bone which tapers to a sharp point. There is a carved face with big eyes, a wide nose, and a mouth. There is a hole at the top of each side.
Headdress made of woven fibre that forms a cap with long straps attached together to form a criss-crossing pattern inside a u shape that extends down from the cap. The cap and straps are ornamented with off-white cowrie shells, and the woven fibre is dark brown.
Tapa cloth with overall geometric pattern in light and dark brown repeated ten times and featuring a diamond at the centre of each panel.
Headdress made of a woven fibre dome covered in brown and black cassowary feathers.

Carrying bag (bilum) woven from light brown fibre with a geometric line and box pattern on the face in dark brown, red, and blue. The top and bottom edges of the bag are curved.
Wooden steering canoe. Single piece of wood. Carved bird forn on top of rounded shaft flattening out to form paddle end. Lance-olate shaped paddle tapers to thin pointed tip. Carving on either side of paddle where shafe melds into paddle head. Signed on paddle head.
Apron composed of woven fibre with two neck straps that have brown tufts of fur at the ends, and a fringe composed of strips of woven fibre with brown fur and longer brown and black hair attached at the ends as well as chains of braided rings made of bamboo strips(?) and brown grass(?). There are tufts of reddish-brown fur at the top of each chain, and the apron is decorated with red, blue and white pigment.
Large, wood, rectangular shaped shield with rounded corners. The surface is painted with the union jack flag. The underside is concaved and has a fibre handle consisting of many pieces of braided rope wrapped together with a piece of cotton fabric. Along one of the sides is an electrical cord, cut and tied into a knot at either end. Adhered to one of the corners is a flattened red and yellow tin can that reads: ‘Globe, Drippings, Product of Australia’. Covering almost half of the back is a nailed, large piece of metal. There are large cracks through the shield that have been repaired with adhesive, metal ties that protrude from the surface.
