Dart QuiverB443 a-qq

Fur quiver containing two smaller skin quivers and 40 small darts. Three of the darts have conical balsa wood plugs at their pointed ends; one dart has a metal arrowhead at one end; rest of dart have two pointed ends, one that is less sharp then the other.

Hemispherical face carved in relief; flat red and black band around outer edge with two small protruding ears in red. Details are in relief with red narrow nose, black beard; brown eyes with black lashes, grey brow, and red triangle on forehead; mouth is carved out. Back side has been partially smoothed out. A piece of cord runs through the outer band just below the chin.

Mask841/14

Oblong-shaped mask with braided fibre around perimeter. Face has oversized forehead, a small bulbous nose, cut out eyes, and two defined lips. Face is decorated with black and white patches of paint on the forehead and mouth, red and white patches pf paint near the eyes, black dots near the nose and cheeks, and blue patches of paint near the chin. There are small patches of raised circles on the back of the mask.

Carving720/25

Long wooden piece with nine projections that curve inwards and taper to a sharp point. The central projection is dome-shaped and is hollow in the centre. Either end of the piece have flat projections; one projection is hollow in the centre, and the other is solid.

Fly Whisk1448/1

Long black coloured feathers gathered together at one end and secured to wooden handle with braided strand of fibre cording. Fibre is woven in and out of feathers at the base, is bound several times around the handle, and is secured with a knot. Braided fibre strand hangs down.

Bowl1461/1

Bowl made of a coconut shell with opening around 3/4 of the way from bottom. Twined string loop through two holes on either side of the rim and is knotted at the centre; outer surface is decorated on either side of each set of holes with four horizontal short lines.

Brown, wooden gorilla-like mask with pointed head and chin. Face has a heavy, furrowed brow, recessed eye sockets, and a wide, articulated nose. A circular hole is bored through the apex of the forehead, with a protruding geometric-shaped knob directly below it. Mask is permanently mounted on a black metal stand with a square base.

Brown, wooden handle topped by a large, elliptical-shaped face with a pointed head and chin. Carved from a single piece of wood, the face is much larger than the width of the handle and gives the impression of being mounted upon a pole. Face is mask-like, painted with faded white, black and red paint, has round black eyes and an open mouth bridged by wood running from the nose to the chin. Entire object is permanently attached by a screw to a black metal stand with a square base. Initials "SP" are inscribed on the reverse in white.
