A pandanus leaf string headband with grey polished plane stem beads. The beads alternate with the string. Light horizontal rows with eight beads are on each vertical strip. The centre has two vertical rows of long cylindrical black beads with two vertical rows of grey beads. Each end has red dye on the string, and the braided ties.

The centre is covered by an upside down v-shaped plaited cane fibre matting topped by a small ringed wooden knob. The removable part is solid cane held on by a wrapping of cane fibre.
