Brown coconut nutshell spoon that has a handle in the form of a man's torso decorated with zig zag details emphasized by white clay. The hands are curving upward from the hips. There are two small protrusions at either side of the waist. There are two small ears. A hole is in the middle of the head. Bowl of the spoon is rounded.
The shaft is undecorated natural cane. The base of the shaft, near the pointed end, has remnants of cane strip wrapping. The point is dark hardwood carved in ornate patterns which form many pairs of barbs.
