Painted gope board. Long and oval in shape; the front is carved with four circles at centre surrounded by sets of wavy lines, and a line of connected, outward pointing triangles at the outside edge. Carved areas contain pigment infill in yellow, white and orange. Back is unpainted and uncarved. The wood is warped diagonally, causing it to lift in opposite corners.
Woven bilum type bag. Plant fibres are rolled to create long strands that are woven in a loose vertical weave, held together by sections of twisting that run horizontally. The small bag is wide at the bottom, narrower at the mouth, with a short handle connected at both outer corners. Handle construction is similar to that of the bag. Base colour is a light brown, with areas of dark brown and dark purple to blue-purple.
Carved wooden yipwon (hook figure). In the shape of a standing person, with a large foot at bottom below a single leg with bent knee. A face in profile sits at centre of object, with a protruding nose and mouth and large forehead with brow that overhangs the inset shell eyes. A flower is carved onto the cheek. Surrounding the face are three oblong circles, the inner and outer of which are carved with rounded designs that are painted white and orange. The other side of the object is carved similarly but is unpainted.
Mai mask. Mask is long and narrow. The forehead rises at centre, meeting the long, sharp bridge of the nose. Eyes are made of inset cowrie shells, emphasized with black paint. On a light tan background, red-brown linear designs swirl around the eyes and cheeks and along the nose. The mouth of the mask is tubular in shape, protruding above the chin and holding a short snake with a squared head. The lower portion of the mask, as well as its outside edges and forehead, are covered in tiny white-grey shells inset in a light brown mud. Larger concave shells sit at regular intervals, and white cowrie shells line the bottom edge. Long, sparse feathers protrude from both the chin and top of head. A leather cord emerges from the top. Mask is concave on back.
Carved hook. Large round face, flat in profile, sits on top of object, with protruding eyes made of seeds below a pointed brow, with scale-like carvings on forehead and cheeks. Nostrils are wide, mouth is small. Long strands of twisted plant fibre are tied through the narrow ears. The long neck is carved with circular and scale-like motifs, and connects with a large triangle below, its upper corners sharply carved into rounded spikes. A face with inset shell eyes and a smiling mouth with prominent teeth is carved into the wood. A tie of plant fibre is set through the nose. At bottom is a hook in a half circle shape, top corners elongated and curved into spikes mimicking the triangle above. It too has a carved face, with nut eyes, brow and cheeks carved with scale-like half circles, and a plant fibre tie through the nose. Mouth at bottom is wide, smiling, showing many prominent teeth. The back of the object is similar to the front.
Band of braided plant fibre with cowrie shells. The largest shells are stitched to the middle section, with smaller shells near the ends.
Comb carved from brown wood which is topped by a carving of a human face and chest surmounted by a headdress to which small grey and white feathers have been attached with strands of plant fibre. This portion of the comb is carved and decorated with painted colours (white, sienna, yellow ochre). The human figure has a wooden nose bone of a lighter coloured wood. There are eight prongs on the comb which are not decorated, and are around 13 cm in length each.
Woven string bag (bilum). The bag is rectangular, curved at the base and narrowing slightly toward mouth, where a thin handle is attached at top corners. The bag is brightly dyed in multiple colours, primarily blue, red, green and yellow, in horizontal strips of squared zigzag patterning on both front and back.

The long face spans two facets of the roughly diamond-shaped head, with engraved eyes, heavy brow and long pointed nose over protruding lips in an undercut chin. A bird sits on the man's head, curled into itself, with long pointed beak dropping down toward the man's forehead. It is painted black and dark brown, with round, light brown eyes.
