Body weave of the basket is over one/under one. There are ten coloured strands woven into the body of the basket. They are red and black and alternate in an every other pattern in groups of five. The lip of the basket is done in a different weave pattern than the body of the basket. The handles are long. They are double twisted and secured through two holes in the body of the basket and green thread is used to tie them off.
