Totem pole model featuring a squatting man holding seal, top has salmon and eagle with outstretched wings. Painted in colours of green, red and black. Signed: Charlie James, Alert Bay. Has piece of printed paper attached to the underside of the base. Pole is secured to the base by two nails.

Humanoid figure has a whale on his back, a whale head on his hip joint, a bear head in his abdomen, protruding fang-like teeth, and paw-like hands and feet; figure is crouching with arms and hands arranged as if about to jump. A large fish-like figure with its tail curled up beneath its jaw snarls with an open, fanged mouth at the humanoid figure; the majority of the fish's body is cut off by the edge of the paper. Profile image of a sea eagle. The face resembles an eagle with a hooked yellow beak. The body has distinguishable feathers on the wings underneath the head, a large tail feather, and a foot with long sharp black talons. There is a yellow, black and white eye design attached to the talons. Three smaller eagle images with yellow hooked beaks are on the top of the larger eagle face, on the top of the wing, and on the top of the tail feather. Also on the top of the tail feather is the head of a whale. The body of the whale arches backwards up the spin of the larger eagle and extends to the head. There are scale-like designs the length of the body. Original image has been cut out and glued onto mat board. The mat board has been attached to a burlap covered board. Handwritten inscription on lower right corner reads: "Sea Eagle-Kwľ Kwľ."

Frog Figure1648/6

Large green painted carving of a frog. Frog figure dips inwards at the top in the centre and at the back. Body is bulbous in shape. Sculpture has painted black dots on its back. The front and back feet are angular and have lined grooves demarcating webbed feet. They are pained dark brown-red, along with the mouth. The mouth is wide and slightly opened exposing a thin tongue. The eyes are directly above the corners of the mouth and are painted black with black eye browns and have yellow coloured centres.

Thunderbird Mask2665/1

Undecorated mask-like carving with recessed eye sockets and large, protruding nose. The grain of the wood runs parallel to the plane of the face and so is highly visible. The back side of the mask has two nails with cord strung between them.
