Bee mask. Red, black and white insect mask with large eye-sockets, round, bulging eyes and a protruding snout.
Long braided neck band with three long fringed ends.
Carved wooden, crooked beak mask. The beak has large red, ovoid shaped nostrils outlined with a row of black and yellow u and split u forms running towards the eye. Running from the brow is a large central frill that protrudes outward and curves inward to the centre tip of the beak; detailed with black u-forms. The mouth is red, flat and protruding; bottom part of jaw is hinged with rectangular pieces of rubber. Inside of the beak is lined with a row of copper, u shaped teeth. The face is black with white detailing. The eyes are black and white, outlined in white and red on a white, ovoid shaped ground; brow is black. The underside of the beak is black with a white stylized design. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twisted twine pieces through the lower beak to articulate the mask. Attached to the top is a wooden crest with red split u-forms on a white ground; small bundles of cedar line the edge of the crest. Along the bottom of the crest and side of the mask are thin twisted cedar braids. Hanging from the top and sides are long strips of cedar that would cover the wearer. Intertwined in the long pieces are a few feathers and eagle down. The mask is painted black, white, red and yellow with Northwest Coast stylized forms.
Mask with prominent black eyebrow ridges, inside grey coloured eye sockets, small cut-out black and white eyes, and a black, red, black, and white nose and mouth. Carved orange crescent shaped designs are on either side of the eyes. There are two split "u" designs sketched in pencil on one ear. Cord tied to several holes in back.
Part a: head of a bird with a long, pointed beak that tapers at the end. Parts b to d: three separate cylindrical neck(?) pieces. There are small nail holes on the top and bottom of the neck of part a, and on each end of parts b to d. Colours on part a are faded black and red.
Bird mask with large beak and hinged lower jaw. Beak is painted light green, with red mouth; dark green around eyes; eyes themselves are painted black and white. Cord inside attached to jaw; stapled to top.
Wooden, dish carved in shape of a sisiutl with a rectangular shaped bowl. The dish has two faces carved and painted on either side of dish. The faces consists of black brow, black eyes and nostrils with a green background. The teeth are carved and have black paint for a mouth. The cheeks and nose are protruding and the eyes and nose are painted green. The two ends have handles emerging from the dish in the shape of serpent-heads with protruding tongues. The heads have blue, green and white detailing along with black eyes and brow. The teeth are carved. The bowl is painted blue, green, black and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Wooden stick with long rounded shaft, tapered with slightly rounded ends. Just above the shortest tapered end is a carved crouching human figure. The shaft is slightly curved.
Brown wood rattle consisting of two rounded pieces put together, each with a semi-cylindrical handle, creating a full rounded oval rattle. Along either sides of each piece, there are two holes to bind the two pieces together with white string. Pieces are also bound together at the top with white string. Handle is bound with brown string. Designs consisting of a face on both side, one carved and the other in pencil. The carved face has a circle in oval eye, a downward pointing triangular nose, and a horizontal double oval mouth from which three diagonal bands angle upward at either side. Eyebrows are pencilled in as are the split u's at either outer sides of the eyes. The pencilled face has tapering oval in double ovoid eyes with brows above, an oblong shape along the cheeks, and an open mouth with fourteen teeth and a tongue sticking out.
Carved and painted face (part a). The black eyes are surrounded by a dark green area with black brows above. The face is white with a red mouth and black moustache. The cheeks are painted with a black outline of a crescent shape that follows the contours of the cheeks. There is a separate set of lips (part b) to be fitted on the face. This set of lips (part b) is an open mouth with red inner lips outlined with dark green.
