A wood spoon with a reverse obovate leaf-shaped bowl and a handle that extends straight up with a notched end and a u-shaped hole. End of the bowl has a rounded groove carved shape toward the handle.

Raven RattleA2468

Brown wood rattle with the top piece in the general shape of a raven that has a reclining man on its back with his protruding tongue held in the beak of a bird's head which sits opposite him on the raven's back and the bottom piece in the shape of a rounded semi-oval emphasized by an incised hawk's face on the belly of the raven with a recurved beak. The rattle is split horizontally through the body and through part of the handle. The upper and lower sections are joined at two places on each side with small withes tied through holes. Nails have been used to secure the top part of the bird's head and string binds the handle. The handle projects from the raven's tail. The raven has black ovoid eyes surrounded by a plain tapering oval and a black ovoid. The black head has a plain circular nostrils and there is a red disc in the red lined beak. The reclining man on top has its head resting on an inverted red split u. The man's flat face has similar facial features to that of the raven, except for the nose which is black. The man has a red body with four digit black hands and four digit red feet. The bird's head which is opposite to him and connected by the tongue also has similar facial features, except there are no nostrils and there is a red u form within a black one at either bottom side. The raven's side wings are plain with vertical black dashes. The raven's tail has a black ovoid along the upper part and four red and black feathers. The bottom piece that is the belly of the raven has a hawk's face with black ovoid in ovoid eyes surrounded by a tapering oval and a black ovoid, a red u form below at either side, a black beak nose, and an open red mouth showing fifteen black teeth and a red tongue. Below, there is a vertically bisymmetrical red design consisting of eye forms and a beak with a pair of black u forms above along with a black triangle below and around the sides, a black ovoid eye form with a red split u above. Above the hawk's face, there is a vertically bisymmetrical red design consisting of eye forms with a pair of black u forms below and s shapes above.

There is an upside down grey split u below the neck. The back has a face with petal-like yellow protrusions all around. There is a face at the end of the tail. Pencil inscription at the bottom right reads 'Robert Ryan Seal age - 8'. Drawing on the right is drawn in pencil with pencil and bright yellow and red pencil crayon details. The arch-like grey eye is outlined by a tapering oval. There are two u forms behind the eye and a s-shape behind the open red mouth with teeth and yellow shapes above. The neck has two grey u forms that are yellow with grey vertical dashes within. There is an upside down grey split u below the neck. The back has a face with petal-like yellow protrusions all around. There is a face at the end of the tail. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads 'Happy holidays to the staff from Grade III for the staff age - 9 Seal(,) Charlie'.

Mask with hide attached with nails along the eyebrows and crown. The mask is painted dark green around the eyes and on the sides of the nose, red on the cheeks, black on the front of the nose and red on the nostrils. The mask also has a painted black moustache and open red lips with a protruding red tongue. The remainder of the face is painted white.

Headdress with oval shape as veiwed from top and sea lion whiskers attached to the bent stem (?) frame with the tallest whisker tip forming a peak at the centre. The top is covered in light brown cotton fabric with a piece of rounded leather at the back of the top, and the bottom half is reinforced with leather. There are two rectangles of purple ridged fabric attached to either side of the front.

Painting of a double-headed serpent in red, green, and black. The serpent has three heads with another face in the middle. All four faces have circular black pupils and eyes surrounded by a green area with upside down red split u's above. All have red nostrils and open red mouths showing even rows of teeth, except for the face in the middle that has black inside the mouth. The main central head has open hands at either side with ovoid eye palms and red fingers. The bodies of the side heads which come up and around to encircle the face in the middle have green dashed scales and black dashed bodies. The two side heads connect together at the upper front fang. In black, at the bottom right corner, there reads 'DOUBLE HEADED SERPENT / ROY-j-HANUSE / '70'. The painting is on a horizontally rectangular, light yellow paper piece.

There is a sideways split u behind the mouth. The shoulder has an ovoid eye shape. The wrist, knee, and ankle have a dot within a circle. The back has five dots within circles. The rear has a similar face to that of the bear's. The bear is black while the mask has a green area surrounding the eyes, red above the head, a red nose, a red mouth, and red tentacles.
