Shallow dish or bowl carved from a single piece of wood. The thick base of the dish is small and round, inset on the exterior of the piece. Walls flare outward from base toward a wide mouth and thick out-set rim. Exterior has a mottled colouring, light brown to black. Interior is mainly dark brown with some lighter areas.

Dish3000/40

Shallow dish or bowl carved from a single piece of wood. From the thick base of the dish, wall of uneven thickness and height flares outward widely toward a wide mouth and thick overhanging rim. Exterior has a mottled colouring, light yellow to brown, and natural striations can be seen in the material. Interior is mainly brown with some lighter areas.

Bentwood Chest3000/21 a-b

Unpainted rectangular bentwood chest or box is attached to a thick base that protrudes out slightly from the walls at an angle. It is reinforced with angled wooden slats on the interior bottom edges. Two thin fibre ropes hang from the front centre panel. Lid (part b) is carved from a single piece of wood with an underside lip that fits into the box. Underside is slightly concave.

Small wooden paddle. Paddle has a long, flat, tapered blade painted with a form-line eye in black on both sides. Shaft is long, round, and narrow, flaring slightly and flattening toward the cylindrical grip. One side of paddle has remnants of white paper attached at blade top and side, and at top of shaft.

Shaft is long, round, and narrow, flaring and flattening toward the grip, which is a thick carved cylinder of wood. Grip and bottom shaft on one side are covered in masking tape.

Blade has a long penetrating crack that has been repaired with adhesive. Shaft is long, rounded, and narrow, flaring and flattening toward the grip, which is a thick, carved cylinder of wood.
