Halibut club. Wooden cudgel is made from a single piece of yew wood, with an oval head longer than it is wide and a long handle. Facets have been carved in the handle’s proximal end, while the grip is thinner and smooth. A pommel is carved at the end. A dark brown wood stain has been applied.
Knife made from thick steel cable. Thin strands of steel are wrapped into small cables, then joined with similar and twisted to make a thick rod. Knife handle retains the cable’s structure, and then is flattened, thinned and shaped to make a blade. Patterning of the twisted strands can be seen along the blade’s back and sides. Knife rises to a point at tip.
Small carved face is wide and oval in shape, with a protruding nose over an open mouth with carved teeth top and bottom. Eyes are oblong, with small round pupils incised at top. Brows are heavy and have remnants of black paint on sides. Two small holes are bored through the wood below centre at each edge. Back is concave with a group of faded black lines running horizontally in the top section.
