There are three purple flying birds and two purple and pink canoes that have two people inside them around the sides of the basket (part a). The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) is conical and has a sunburst-like green centre at the top with seven purple and blue birds around it, and which are surrounded by a red, blue, and purple zig zag circle line. There is a horizontal downward pointing row of red triangles that goes around the side of the lid (part b).

The lid is peaked and encircled with bands of a brown, purple and green leaf-like pattern. Dark pink from top to bottom.

Design on mat is of two whales, men in a boat and a bird encircling a green star-like shape. Two circles of design surround central figures, with the inner design consisting of brown and orange flying birds and the outer design consisting of a zig zag. Colour on bottom of mat is more vibrant than colour on top.
