Painted owl headdress with a protruding beak. Red overall, with other features and designs painted on. The beak and area surrounding the eyes is blue, eyebrows are black. White is used to outline the eyebrows, eyes, cheeks and create other patterns like dashes in the blue area around the eyes and a half circle on the forehead. Above the owl's face is a carved headdress featuring a white peak and an arching line. Other colours on the headdress include red, blue, green and yellow. Two large metal studs are used for eyes, secured by nails. Other smaller metal studs are painted white and decorate the area around the face. Baleen is attached to the back of the mask and is visible above the headdress. Two brown textiles are also attached to the back of the mask creating a hat-like structure. (Similar to A7858).

Small cylindrical basket (a) with flat, fitted lid (b); lid is held in place by a cedar flange attached around the upper rim of the basket. Fine wrapped twined work. Base:central circle of pink/purple/yellow/purple (wave pattern) surrounded by a green, wavey line. Sides: discrete bands of orange rectangles on purple ground bordered by a green jagged line. Lid: pink/yellow/brown rim; same discrete bands as on sides joined by a brown line; inner circle is red/yellow/brown.

Humanistic painted wooden headdress. The headdress is white with a carved black head covering and features painted on in various colours. The thick frowning lips are red. The protruding nose with the tip nailed on is blue. The area surrounding the eyes and pointed designs on the cheeks are also blue. The eyes are white ovals outlined in black with round black centres. The eyebrows are also black. On either side of the black head covering, protruding metal discs have been nailed near the top.

Wood carved headdress in form of an eagle's head with the tip of the beak carved out. Painted are a yellow beak with a red mouth and nostril. The eyes are inlaid with circular mirrors and surrounded by a piece of circular, scalloped edged metal. Around the eyes is red, the face is green with red and yellow feather detailing. Nailed to the black brow is a finely beaded cloth. The inside has a piece of wood for support; nailed to the wood is a piece of leather. The right outside edge has remnants of a cotton cloth.
