Painting of an angel in a natural landscape. The angel wears a black tunic vividly decorated with golden swirls and patters and long lace cuffs. A long red cloak reaches to the ground, and is also decorated with gold detailing. A multi coloured scarf is attached with a broach at the angel’s neck and a pink belt can be seen at the waist. Tall brown boots with open toes are on his feet. In front of his slightly spread wings, the angel points upwards with his left hand. In his right he holds a large cornucopia full of flowers. The background shows a large expanse of sky, and at the bottom, mountains, foliage, and a flock of brightly coloured birds.

Painting2862/43

Painting shows an angel in human form, colourful wings slightly spread behind him. The dress is colonial in style, with an elaborate black and gold coat over a shirt with voluminous white sleeves and wide lace at the collar and cuffs. A green tunic shows through the coat’s open front. A long red, black, and gold cape falls to the angel’s left. His legs are covered in pink stockings tied below the knee with green ribbon, and the shoes are small, brown, and have round toes and a pink bow. A wide-brimmed hat sits on top of the angel’s curled brown hair and is adorned with ribbons and 3 colourful feathers. The angel holds a long rifle in his right hand, and a staff in his uplifted left. The background is shaded red and brown. The back of the canvas is painted a thin brown.

Vessel2862/20

Small decorative bull, thick at neck, with curved horns on top of the head and triangular ears pointing to the sides. Figure has round, raised spoke decorations in the centre of its forehead and on both cheeks and shoulders. Two serrated bands run sideways on its neck, and 6 rings hang from the chest. The tail curls around itself, resting on the lower back of the bull, and ends in a large tuft. The body is painted with reddish brown lines in triangles and waves, and splotches of yellow glaze cover some of the decorated areas as well as the face and spots on the torso. 2 handles are incorporated into the figure, one on the top of the head between the horns, and one on the centre back. A hole is found in the centre back behind the handle.

Apu Stone2862/17

Shaped apu stone, cubical in shape, with seven nodular points. Each point has three thin rings carved into it that have been darkened with pigment. A face is carved into one facet, with round eyes, large nose, and smiling mouth and is surrounded by short carved lines.

Sculpture2865/3

Unglazed orange-brown clay candelabrum sculpture in the shape of a spherical tower with church and village scenes. Details are painted in white, dark brown, and orange-brown. The top of the tower has five candle holders: the centre holder is set in the back of a forward facing kneeling cow with two candle holders on each flank and an additional two on arms on the sides. Below this, three ridges around the circumference of the tower have church and village scenes consisting of standing modelled figures and animals with cut out arch, rectangular, and triangular windows. On the top ridge, below the cow, is a large cut-out arch window with eight birds perched on the upper rim. Standing on the sill of the window are three standing figures, the centre figure has a cross on his robes; two additional figures stand outside the window on a ledge. The middle and bottom ridges have village scenes with people, goats?, donkeys, and small rectangular and triangular windows. In the base (17 cm diameter) of the tower is a large cut out arch with a base floor holding a nativity scene: three standing figures wearing crosses on their robes, two kneeling fawn-like spotted ungulates and a central reclining cradle with figure. The tower walls are decorated with painted designs of plants, flowers, stripes, dots and grids. The back of the tower has a C-shaped handle.

The patron saint of the home and dogs has brown skin and black hair, wears a gold-trimmed black cape over a white and gold robe, holds a broom in his left hand and carries a cross (b) in his right hand. At his feet, on the mounded green base, sit two dogs beside a red oval object.

Ceramic model of a Catholic church with two square bell towers at the front. The molded relief architectural features (crosses, rondeles, arches, door and window frames) of the light orange clay structure are highlighted with white paint and green glaze. At the base of the towers are the words "SANTIAGO" and "PUPUJA".

Three figures with skeletal faces stand on a balcony above four figures wearing aprons that are lined up in front of an open door.
