Brightly painted portable "retablo" box altar. Two doors open outwards from the centre on leather hinges to show a Nativity scene with Jesus as a toddler. Framed behind gilded pillars are small painted plaster figures and animals which are staggered in rows rising in height towards the larger figures of Joseph and Mary. Round, shallow, ceremonial dish made of light brown clay has a plain exterior surface and a reddish brown interior covered with cream coloured vegetal motifs. Numerous small clay figures (llamas, sheep, donkey, two people) are arranged head to tail around the wide flat lip and a deer stands in the centre of the dish.
