The basket (part a) has a purple and natural-coloured checker pattern along the upper portion while the lower portion has a geometric diagonal line pattern of the same colours. The lid (part b) has a central diamond design on the top with a checker pattern around the sides in purple, black, and natural colour.

Lid (part a) and base (part b) are plaited palm fibre in a hexagonal shape. Support frame for the lid and the base are three bamboo sticks crossed at sixty degree angles. Geometrical exterior design is created by overlaid coloured palm fibre. Dark and light brown.

Central vertical band of fuchsia material embroidered with geometric patterns in white, black, yellow, blue, green, and orange thread; central band bisects horizontal sections.

Part b is a dark blue with horizontal, alternating red and white stripes; centre seam sewn together with alternating red and black yarn in a zigzagging pattern; bottom edge sewn with alternating red and black yarn..

Shiny, bright purple woven material sewn into a skirt-like tube. Material is covered with evenly spaced, golden, curvilinear motifs. A thin band of gold with evenly spaced triangular shapes rings both ends.

Two thin strips of wood with lustrous thread wound tightly around it in bands of highly saturated colour; magenta, royal blue, teal, orange, eggplant, and white.
